Vijay stuns Adithyan

Coimbatore: B. Vijay Krishna of Perks MHSS pulled off a stunning 21-10, 16-21, 21-16 win over fourth seed B. Adithyan of Venkatalakshmi MHSS in the under-13 boys’ singles second round in the district schools badminton tournament at the Jenney Club courts here on Friday.

However, Vijay met his match in Rakesh D. Madan in the under-16 section. The latter did not take much time in defeating the former 21-15, 21-12 for a place in the third round.

Swimming meet

The PSG Management Alumni Association will conduct a swimming meet for the student community at the Lifespring Sports Condo on November 25.

The one-day meet has been split into five categories starting from nine to 17 years. Registration can be done at Life Spring Sports Condo from November 21 between 9 a.m. & 7 p.m. It can also be made at the venue between 7 and 7.30 a.m. on November 25.
