KHAMMAM: The Indian Overseas Bank intends to set up new branches at three more places -- Bhadrachalam, Sathupalli and Yellandu -- as part of its plans for reaching out more pockets in Vijayawada region, according to the Chief Regional Manager of the Bank. K. Sethu on Friday. Inaugurating the customers’ fortnight here, he said that survey would be taken up in some selective place including the three centers in Khammam for opening the new branches. Sathupali town is considered important, in view of the opening of the Jalagam Vengal Rao open-cast coal project. The Chief Manager of the Branch, Ch. Bhaskar Reddy and field officer, M. Durgaprasad also spoke.
