Heavy rainfall in East Godavari district

Kakinada: East Godavari district has received 1,306 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. of Friday. The average rainfall was 21.8 mm with Sitanagaram and Kothapeta mandals recording the highest and lowest rainfalls of 105.4 mm and 1.2 mm respectively, according to an official release here. Y. Ramavaram, Thondangi, Sankhavaram, Yeleswaram, Rampachodavaram, Devipatnam, Korukonda, Gokavaram, Kirlampudi, Pithapuram, Kotthapalli, Kakinada urban, Kakinada rural, Rajanagaram, Mandapeta, Anaparthy, Bikkavolu, Pedapudi, Karapa, Ramachandrapuram, Rayavaram, P.Gannavaram, Allavaram mandals received more than 20 mm rainfall each.
