KATTAPPANA: Suresh 15, a ninth standard student of Chithambaram Memorial Higher Secondary School, Peerumade, and son of Ganesan of Ranikovil near Kallar, allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison on Friday morning. Though local people rushed him to the taluk hospital at Kanjirappally after he was found lying on the road in the morning, he could not be saved, according to Peerumade police. A case has been charged in this connection.—A Correspondent
