HUBLI: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Jagadish Shettar was given a rousing welcome by his supporters and well wishers on his first visit to his hometown Hubli on Friday after assuming office as a Minister. Mr. Shettar was greeted with bouquets and garlands at the Hubli Airport after his arrival from Bangalore on Friday. BJP supporters thronged the airport entrance to greet their leader who returned from Bangalore as Minister after resigning from the post of Speaker. BJP flags and banners and placards welcoming and greeting Mr. Shettar on his becoming the Minister dotted the Airport Road and the thoroughfares of the city. BJP members even took out a motorcycle rally.
