KOLLAM: Raveendran, 42, drowned after he fell into a pond at Chathinamkulam near here on Friday morning. Though he was taken to the District Hospital here, he was declared dead on arrival. Incidentally, Raveendran had left his house 15 years ago and his whereabouts were not known. At that time, the photograph of an unidentified body published in a newspaper was mistakenly identified as that of his by some of his relatives and the body was brought and cremated in the compound of his house at Chathinamkulam. After about two years, he appeared in his house. There is no clue yet on whose body was cremated. — Staff Reporter
