MALAPPURAM: The Child Rights Declaration Week celebrations conducted by the Ammu Appu Aflatoun, the social and financial education programme of Rajagiri Outreach, concluded here on Friday. Malappuram municipal chairman Kiliyamannil Yakoob inaugurated the valedictory function. Shareef Ullathu, Child Welfare Committee member, spoke on the United Nations Child Rights Convention (UNCRC) Act for children. K. Sumesh from PSMO College won the Young Achiever’s Award instituted as part of the 20th anniversary of UNCRC.
