‘Harita’ housing project launch tomorrow

VUDA promises global living standards amidst eco-friendly surroundings


Sale of flats is being done on pre-fixed price

Community hall, hospital, shopping arena form part of the project


VISAKHAPATNAM: VUDA is launching its “prestigious and much awaited Singapore Class Township” Project ‘Harita’ at Madhurawada. Taking the lead for rapid development of the city, VUDA has taken the initiative in providing the immediate and essential requirement of quality, affordable housing. The project will be launched on Sunday morning at VUDA Children’s Theatre. Sale of applications will be up to December 21.

The mega housing project, named ‘Harita’ by VUDA Vice-Chairman V.N. Vishnu, promises global living standards amidst eco-friendly surroundings and utmost priority for environmental concerns. Close to the IT/ ITES Special Economic Zone, it is located between the national highway and the Visakha-Bheemili Beach Road. The project aims at providing pollution-free environment, greenery, valley and hill views and picturesque surroundings, says a VUDA release. The project abuts the 100-ft major road connecting the national highway from Madhurawada to Visakha-Bheemili Beach Road at Thimmapuram and the IT SEZ. Of the total project area of 40 acres, 710 units will be developed in the first phase in 20.17 acres in Ground + Stilt + 4 floors. Sizes of flats with super built-up area range from 820 sft to 1800 sft in five categories- LIG, MIG-II, MIG 1B, MIG-1A and HIG. The sale of flats in Haritha project is being done on pre-fixed price. The cost of LIG unit is Rs.14.10 lakhs, MIG-II West-facing (22.70 lakhs), MIG-II East-facing (23.20 lakhs), MIG-IB (1380 sft, Rs. 23.80 lakhs), MIG-IB (1335 sft, Rs.23.00 lakhs), MIG-IA (Rs.24.10 lakhs), and HIG (West-facing, Rs.30.40 lakhs) and HIG (1800 sft, East-facing, Rs.31.00 lakhs).

Highlights

The project will have infrastructure components such as 9 m right of way, ample parking, landscaping, underground electrical and telecom cabling, STP, rainwater harvesting pits, reticulated gas supply system, electrical substation, street furniture etc.

Potable water

The project ensures potable drinking water from GVMC. Community hall (Sneha), Hospital (Suraksha) and convenience shopping (Suvidha) are integral parts of the project.
