SV Veterinary varsity REAC meet on Nov. 25

TIRUPATI: The first Research and Extension Advisory Council (REAC) meeting of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University will be held at College of Veterinary Sciences here on November 25.

According to Director of Research Mohd. Hafeez, the meeting focuses on farmer-oriented research in the varsity and transfer of research results to the farm while adopting extension methodologies.

The university higher-upso like deans of veterinary science, fishery science and dairy technology will sit for a brainstorming session along with the Collector, officers from ITDA and DRDA, director of animal husbandry, chiefs of the dairy, poultry and meat development corporations, chairpersons of sheep cooperative societies and progressive farmers drawn from various regions.

Vice-Chancellor D.V.G. Krishna Mohan will to inaugurate the meeting as the chief guest.
