GIFTED MUSICIANS: The Thaerichen’s Tentet’s success lies in its inventive compositions

BANGALORE: As the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan completes 50 years in India, it kick-starts its golden jubilee celebrations with a concert by Thaerichen’s Tentet from Berlin, Germany, on November 20 at 6.30 p.m. at the bhavan’s premises on C.M.H. Road.

The Thaerichen’s Tenet has been described as “mature, intense, dead serious, wicked, manic, with outstanding composition, hilarious, sensitive”, and as having “exceptionally gifted jazz singers.”

The Thaerichen’s Tenet was founded by German pianist, composer and arranger Nicolai Thärichen with singer Michael Schiefel in 1999..
