No trust vote fails

Kakinada: The no confidence motion against Pithapuram municipal vice-chairperson V Sujatha fell apart due to the lack of quorum in the election conducted by Kakinada RDO G.C. Kishore Kumar on Wednesday. Only 12 out of the 30 councillors were present when the special meeting was first called and all of them including Chairperson Rajeswari Devi stayed away the second time, causing the motion to be defeated.
