KOLKATA: Indian men’s compound team, comprising C. Srither, Kh. Ratan Singh and Isiah R. Sanam, totalled 4,050 points in the FITA round qualification to rank No. 3 overall on the opening day of the 16th Asian archery championship at Bali (Indonesia) on Tuesday. The women’s recurve side, consisting of Rimil Buriuly, Laxmi Rani Majhi and Chekrovolu Swuro, was ranked fourth overall with 3,941 points. Men’s recurve and women’s compound events will be gone through on Wednesday. The results: Ranking round, men’s compound: C. Srither 1375 points (2nd rank), Kh. Ratan Singh 1342 (13th), Palton Hansda 1346 (10th) and Isiah R. Sanam 1333 (15th). Team: (Srither, Ratan and Sanam) 4050 (3rd). Women’s recurve: Rimil Buriuly 1314 (9th), Laxmi Rani Majhi 1310 (12th), Chekrovolu Swuro 1290 (19th) and Reena Kumari 1242 (31st). Team: (Rimil, Laxmi and Chekrovolu) 3941 (4th).
