Nippu wins gold

NEW DELHI: Nippu Jamwal has won the girls’ 45 kg gold medal in the junior Asian judo championships in Beirut. Six other Indian judokas have bagged bronze medals.

The medal winners: Boys: Bronze: Anoop (55kg); Girls: Gold: Nippu Jamwal (45 kg); Bronze: Y. Sangita Devi (48 kg), Priyanka Das (52 kg), Naveen (57 kg), Garima Chaudhary (63 kg), Rekha (70 kg).
