Mystery shrouds death of two in city
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: Two persons, including an Indian Air Force (IAF) technician died under mysterious circumstances in separate incidents in the city since Saturday.
The IAF technician, Ch. Srikanth (23), hailing from Nizamabad district, was found dead in his friend’s hostel room at Mehdipatnam on Sunday morning.
Srikanth and his friend Mobin had dinner in a restaurant at Banjara Hills and came to the hostel late on Saturday night. When Mobin was trying to wake him up on Sunday morning, Srikanth did not respond. Then he took Srikanth to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead. The technician was posted at Bangalore.
In yet another incident, a field officer of a nationalised bank died under suspicious circumstances in Rajendranagar on Saturday.
A. Venkatesh (26), a native of Kurnool district, was working as a field officer in a nationalised bank at Rajasthan. He came to the city three days ago to meet his friend Mohan Raju in Rajendranagar. After Venkatesh complained of health problems, Raju took him to a nearby doctor. When they were returning home, Venkatesh developed convulsions and collapsed. He was declared brought dead to a nearby hospital.
Police said autopsy reports would confirm the exact reasons for the death in two incidents.
