Poorvisha in final

Bangalore: S.R. Poorvisha defeated D. Chinmayi 21-11, 21-9 in the girls’ under-16 semifinals of the Ramesh Padukone Mehul Sirur Memorial inter-school badminton tournament at the Canara Union courts here on Saturday.

The results (semifinals): Girls: Under-16: S.R. Poorvisha bt D. Chinmayi 21-11, 21-9; Mira Mahadevan bt Mahima Agarwal 21-9, 10-21, 21-14.

Boys: Under-10: Amog R. Gupta bt M.K. Ashwin 21-4, 21-6; Ayush bt B.S. Shantanu 18-21, 21-14, 21-12.
