Bangalore: Kerala hit the front with its men and women rowers qualifying for the final in all the eight events in the junior National rowing championship. On the penultimate day of the championships at the Ulsoor Lake here on Saturday, Kerala’s T.A. Aneesh (men) and Dittymol Varghese (women) made it to the final in the single scull while A. Aneesh Kumar and M.R. Arun Kumar and Thara Kurian and Dittymol entered the men and women’s double scull final. Tamil Nadu’s Fazila Hussain and Shruti Satish Kamath will figure in the women’s coxless pair final while Madhya Pradesh has three finalists with two in the women’s events. The finals will be held on Sunday.
