MYSORE: The toy train in the Jawahar Bal Bhavan here may soon be on its tracks. The facility was suspended over a year ago as the rails had worn out. A team of railway officials visited the bhavan recently to inspect the toy train and the track. “They have promised to replace the worn-out rails and sleepers. They said that the metre-gauge rails removed during the gauge conversion between Mysore and Nanjangud might be used for relaying the track here,” principal organiser of the bal bhavan Krishnamurthy said.
