TNSP (Armed Wing) wins

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Special Police (Armed Wing) won the team championship for men and women in the Chennai District weightlifting championship held here recently.

N. Sunil Kumar of SDAT was declared the ‘Best Lifter’ of the tournament.

The results (winners only):

56kg: A. Vijayan (SDAT); 62kg: M. Vinoth (Sridevi); 69kg: N. Sunil Kumar (SDAT); 77kg: K. Damodaran (TN Police); 85kg: J. Rajesh (TN Police); 94kg: Chandrasehar (Sridevi); 105kg: K. Sateesh (TN Police).
