DB, TKM in last eight
Sasthamcotta: Host DB College and TKM Arts and Science College (Kollam) entered the quarterfinals of the Kerala University inter-collegiate cricket tournament at the DB College ground on Tuesday.
In the second round, DB College defeated NSS College (Pandalam) by 38 runs while TKM College scored a three-wicket win over Government College (Chavara).
The scores: DB College 167 for five in 20 overs (Arun Dev 46, Rajesh 34, Jaikrishnan three for 29) bt NSS College (Pandalam) 129 in 19 overs (Sharath three for 13, Akash Babu four for 27); Government College (Chavara) 73 for eight in 12 overs (Amar three for 11, Akhil three for 18) lost to TKM Arts and Science College (Kollam0 77 for seven (Akhil Xavier three for 16).
