Misuse of ISI mark

BANGALORE: The Bureau of Indian Standards, during its search and seizure operation against misuse of ISI mark on Friday, noticed that Karanji Industries, a drinking water packaging unit located on Kathreguppa Main Road, was using the ISI mark without valid certification. In a release, BIS said that it has seized 70 jars bearing ISI mark with brand names Goldenaqua and Karanji and labels of the above brand bearing ISI mark used for affixing on the jars. — Staff Reporter
