MYSORE: The first batch of foreign police officers passed out from the Karnataka Police Academy (KPA), Mysore, at a function held on the academy grounds here on Tuesday. Four police chief inspectors from the Republic of Maldives, who underwent training for 52 weeks passed out as 29th batch gazetted probationers. Wearing the police uniform of their nation, the officers Fathuhulla Waheed, Mohammad Nadeem, Yoosuf Bushry and Moosa Rasheed presented an attractive parade in front of senior police officers of the State. They were imparted training in outdoor and indoor subjects, including human rights, criminology and computers and cyber crime. Additional Director-General of Police (Training and Recruitment) S.T. Ramesh received the salute from the officers. In his address, he asked the officers to maintain discipline, vision and promptness. While Mohamed Nadeem won all-round best and outdoor best trophy, Moosa Rasheed bagged the first indoor best prize. Fathuhulla Waheed secured the second indoor best prize and Yoosuf Bushry bagged the ADGP-R and T trophy.
