Rs. 11.5 lakh worth property recovered

HYDERABAD: The Uppal police on Monday recovered nabbed a gang of four persons who were allegedly responsible for 30 burglaries committed on the city outskirts during the past two years. Stolen gold jewellery, electronic goods, silver articles and two bikes, all worth Rs. 11.5 lakh, were recovered from them, Uppal Inspector B. Bhaskar told reporters. Three of the arrested – Malleswara Rao, Laxman and Ramakrishna hail from Srikakulam district while Chandra Reddy belongs to Mahbubnagar district. On a tip-off, they were caught on Monday.
