New warrant against Abu Salem

NEW DELHI: A fresh production warrant was issued by a court here on Monday against underworld don Abu Salem after the Mumbai police failed to produce him in a case registered four years ago for allegedly making a phone call to a Delhi-based businessman demanding Rs.5 crore as protection money.

“Issue production warrant against Abu Salem for November 20,” ordered Additional Sessions Judge Pinki, who was to hear arguments on framing of charges in the case.
