Shillong: A Bangladeshi infiltrator was gunned down by the Border Security Force (BSF) along the Indo-Bangla border in Dhubri district of Assam, police said on Monday. A BSF statement here said that when three Bangladeshis were trying to cross the border, Indian border guards asked them to stop. As the foreigners ignored the order and started running, BSF fired killing one on Sunday. While Nazrul Islam was killed on the spot, the other two managed to escape.
