Aligarh: Noted Hindi scholar and former Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Aligarh Muslim University, Kunwar Pal Singh has passed away after prolonged illness. He was 72. Dr. Singh who had written about half-a-dozen books on Hindi literature, was the founder member, national vice-president and treasurer of the Janwadi Lekhak Sangh. He is survived by wife, son and a daughter.
