Man’s body found in car

MYSORE: An unidentified man’s body with hands and legs tied was found inside a car near Udbur village, about 15 km from here, in Mysore south police station limits on Monday.

Two youths who were returning to their village in the early hours of Monday were allegedly attacked by a gang with sharp weapons when they went near the car.

Nagesh and Swamy, who sustained injuries, have been admitted to hospitals here.

According to the police, the miscreants attacked Nagesh and Swamy. While Nagesh who suffered minor injuries, managed to flee, Swamy suffered serious wounds and fell unconscious.

On being informed by Nagesh, a group of people rushed to the spot but the gang had fled by then, abandoning the car.
