DEHRA DUN: Promotion and adoption of rural technologies in Uttarakhand under the global theme of “Heal, fuel, feed the world” will come up for review and discussions by over 700 experts at the three-day fourth Uttarakhand State Science Congress to be held at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology from this Tuesday. Announcing this here over the weekend, Vice-Chancellor B. S. Bisht said the Congress would be inaugurated by State Governor Margaret Alva and presided over by Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. The theme and venue become important as Uttarakhand is a State striving to improve rural economy through agriculture and the university has been the harbinger of the first Green Revolution, said Dr. Bisht.
