Daily updates on MGREGA

MYSORE: GPs in H.D. Kote taluk can now update information on matters pertaining to the Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGREGA) on a daily basis.

Hampapura, Beechanahalli and Antharasanthe GPs are uploading information such as work status report, job status, expenditure on works and allowances on the project’s website: http://nrega.nic.in on a daily basis. Thanks to the introduction of computers and the Internet in villages coming under these GPs, data pertaining to MGREGA works are available at a click of the mouse.

“Other GPs will soon start uploading MGREGA data online once the operators there get the necessary training,” said H.D. Kote Taluk Panchayat executive officer Prabhuswamy.
