ANR donates Rs. 25 lakh to CMRF

HYDERABAD: Two days after the ‘Star Night’ organised by film industry bigwigs to collect funds for the flood-affected people, thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao donated Rs. 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Accompanied by his filmstar son Nagarjuna, he handed over the cheque for this amount to Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, at the Secretariat on Monday after a brief meeting with the latter. ANR told reporters later that when some persons suffered in society, rest of the people too would suffer seeing their pain.
