NIZAMABAD: Two persons were killed while three others were injured when two trucks were involved in a collision at Narsingaraopally village on Sangareddy-Nanded-Akola road (SNA Road) under Nizam Sagar police station limits early on Monday. The deceased were identified as Raju, 38, and Chokur Ramappa, 60, of Srinagar in Varni mandal. Ramappa’s daughter Chandrakala and lorry cleaner Amanulla Augstine were seriously injured while one Mallu Ramesh sustained minor injuries. They were admitted to the Government Hospital at Banswada. The victims were travelling from Ratnapur of Nyalkal mandal in Medak district in the lorry. The lorry which was going to Kistapur of Beerkur mandal for sand loading rammed into the oncoming lorry resulting in the instantaneous death of the two. The police registered a case.
