Bhubaneswar: Worried over spread of deadly swine flu among school children in tribal dominated areas, the State government has ordered district authorities to close educational institutions if necessary. Instruction has also been given to district administration of Sundargarh, where swine flu was detected in eight students of three schools, to prevent sports, cultural or similar teams from going out of the district for sometime, Health Minister, Prasanna Acharya said. The government has also ordered regular screening of students in schools and directed teachers to refer students with cold, cough and fever for check up, he said. Altogether 18 persons had so far been diagnosed with swine flu in the State. PTI
