Punjab takes honours

Hosur: Punjab tallied 48 points for the overall championship in the 17th National junior fencing championship at the Adhiyamaan Engineering College here on Sunday. Punjab topped the table in the boys section and finished second to Kerala (32 pts.) in the girls category.

Final rankings: Individual: Boys: 1. Punjab 20 pts.; 2. Manipur 16; 3. Andhra Pradesh 7. Girls: 1. Kerala 32 pts.; 2. Punjab 20; 3. Manipur 17. Overall: 1. Punjab 48 pts.; 2. Manipur 33; 3. Kerala 32.
