No match in Anantapur

VIJAYAWADA: The Plate Group ‘B’ Ranji match between Andhra and Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) will not take place in Anantapur owing to the ban on the Services team by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for forfeiting the inaugural tie of the season against Jammu and Kashmir by not turning up for the match in Srinagar on November 3.

The match was scheduled from November 10 to 13 at Anantapur’s Rural Development Trust (RDT) stadium.

Andhra, after undergoing a week-long camp in Anantapur, will proceed to Vijayawada to play against Madhya Pradesh from November 17 to 20.
