This Day That Age
Rod Alexander’s “Dance Jubilee” which will present on November 10 its opening performance, a cavalcade of American song and dance, in Raja Annamalai Hall, was given a reception on November 9 by the American Women’s Club of Madras, who are the sponsors of the programmes in the City. The reception was held at Hotel Woodlands, Mylapore. The team had come to India under President Eisenhower’s Cultural Programme, which had previously given them Marion Anderson, the Golden Gate Quartette and the Little Orchestra.
