BELLARY: “Let the people and the media draw their own inference over the political crisis within the party and also over the outcome.” This is what G. Karunakara Reddy, Minister for Revenue, said while replying to a volley of questions by the media on Monday. When asked whether he was satisfied with the outcome after the 14-day-long crisis within the party, he said, “The question of satisfaction does not arise. We will abide by the decision taken by the party high command. Rehabilitating the victims of the floods is on top of my agenda. As Revenue Minister, I will discharge my duties. From tomorrow I will start touring and reviewing rehabilitation work in all the flood-affected districts,” he said. Mr. Karunakara Reddy evaded a direct answer to several questions on the political crisis, especially with regard to the firm demand of changing the leadership, whether the solution found was a temporary one or not. “God and people will know what will happen in future,” he replied. He denied having taken some MLAs to Hyderabad.
