Applications invited

CHENNAI: Filled-in applications are invited from eligible private candidates for the higher secondary examinations to be held in March 2010.

According to an official release from the Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai, candidates who had appeared already and failed in the higher secondary examination conducted by the department can apply to reappear in the failed subjects (‘H’ type application to be used).

Candidates who had passed the Standard X public examination or equivalent examination and completing 16.5 years of age on or before April 1, 2010, provided there is a gap of two years from passing the Standard X examination can apply (‘HP’ type application to be used).

Last date

The examinations will be held under the syllabus introduced during the academic year 2005-06. The last date for the receipt of completed applications is November 25.
