Boy missing

Tirupur: A 12-year-old boy was missing after he went to bath in River Noyyal here on Monday evening.

Sources said that Manikandan, a resident of Poolavarisukumar Nagar, was washed away when he was taking bath in the river adjacent to his house.

Arrested

A total of 400 pirated VCDs of latest Tamil films were seized in Dharapuram on Sunday. Six persons, allegedly involved in the sale of the VCDs, were arrested.
