Career meeting on Nov. 13

SALEM: The District Employment Office (DEO) will organise a career meeting on its premises at 2.30 p.m. on November 13.

According to a release from DEO Assistant Director, M.K. Perumal, private organisations will recruit candidates for various jobs including teacher, computer operator and sales executive during the meeting.

Candidates who have registered with the DEO for government employment can also participate in the meet. The DEO will not cancel the registration of those who get selected for a job in this meeting.

They can continue to renew their registration, the release said. The DEO invites private companies to participate in the meet, which is a free service.

Details

Companies should provide details to the DEO by November 12 regarding the nature of job, qualification requirements and number of vacancies. More information about the meet can be had from the DEO.
