Blood donation camp marks one year

Donated blood to be handed over to Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences



Marking the occasion: Students of the Ants Animation School donating blood as part of their school’s anniversary celebrations.

HASSAN: Students of Ants Animation School celebrated the school’s first anniversary here on Sunday and Monday by organising a drawing competition for children and a blood donation camp.

Over 30 students donated blood during the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by H.S. Prakash, MLA, in the presence of Hassan City Municipal Council president Nethravathi Girish, principal of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatha College of Ayurveda Prasanna Narasimha Rao and district surgeon Prem Kumar.

The donated blood will be handed over to the Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences.

The drawing competition held on Sunday saw over 300 students from various schools participating.
