MP offers funds for memorial park

Kozhikode: M.K. Raghavan, MP, has said that money will be utilised from his MP fund for the construction of a park in memory of K.P. Kesava Menon on the Konnadu beach if the authorities gave their consent for the same.

He was inaugurating the K.P. Kesava Menon commemoration function on the occasion of the 31st death anniversary of the freedom fighter here on Monday.

Mr. Raghavan said Kesava Menon was a selfless human being and politician who worked untiringly for the development and uplift of the people.

All India Congress Committee member P.V. Gangadharan presided over the function.
