Correspondent

Sirsi: B.S. Ranganath Hasan, president of the Bharatiya Postal Employees Union (BPEU) - 3 Karnataka Region, said the Government was not taking good care of the employees of the Department of Posts. Speaking at the divisional convention held at Samrat Vinayak hall here on Sunday, Mr. Hasan said that the Department of Posts had grown in strength because of the contribution of its employees by way of meeting the set targets.

G. Puspraj, Bangalore Secretary of the BPEU-3, who was the chief guest, said that even during difficult times such as the Kargil war, the postal employees continued to deliver post in dangerous zones.
