Portfolios of Haryana Ministers

CHANDIGARH: Ajay Singh Yadav, former Haryana Irrigation and PWD Minister, has been appointed as the new Finance Minister.

According to the allocation of portfolios, he will also look after Planning, Institutional Finance and Credit Control, Irrigation, Forests and Environment.

Former Power Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala has been entrusted with Water Supply and Sanitation, Parliamentary Affairs, Electronics and Information Technology, Science and Technology and Public Works (Building and Roads).

Mahender Partap Singh would hold the portfolios of Power, Renewable Energy, Labour and Employment, Food and Supplies, Urban Local Bodies and Industries and Commerce.

Om Prakash Jain has been given Transport, Tourism, Civil Aviation and Hospitality. Paramvir Singh will look after Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Fisheries and Cooperation.

Geeta Bhukkal will look after Education and Languages, Social Justice and Empowerment, Women and Child Development, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Health, Printing and Stationery.

Among the Ministers of State, Shiv Charan Sharma will hold the portfolios of Revenue and Disaster Management (attached with Chief Minister), Consolidation and Rehabilitation.

Gopal Kanda has been given Home(attached with Chief Minister), Sports and Youth Affairs(attached with Chief Minister) and Industries and Commerce(attached with Industries Minister).

Sukhbir Kataria has been given Agriculture and Cooperation for which he would be attached with the Agriculture and Cooperation Minister.

Amongst the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPS), Anita Yadav has been assigned Food and Supplies, Women and Child Development, Dan Singh Education and Excise and Taxation, Dharambir Singh Agriculture, Development and Panchayats; Jaivir Balmiki, Social Welfare; Jaleb Khan, Revenue and Disaster Management and Employment; Prahlad Singh Gillakhera, PWD(B&R); Ram Kishan Fouji, Health, Medical Education, Administration of Justice and Hospitality; Sharda Rathore Technical Education, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs and Urban Local Bodies and Sultan Singh, Irrigation and Transport.
