Police initiatives highlighted

Chennai: Chennai Police Commissioner T. Rajendran highlighted the initiatives taken by the police in curbing corruption and crime by effective use of technology. Speaking at the valedictory of Vigilance Awareness Week organised by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited recently, he urged people to be vigilant and fight corruption. HPCL’s general manager R. Radhakrishnan briefed about IT-enabled initiatives such as e-payment and automation at retail outlets.
