Club inaugurated

A Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) club was inaugurated recently at Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Old Mahabalipuram Road. The club aims at promoting the use of open source software. Asokan Pichai, consultant in IIT-Bombay, gave a talk on ‘Free Open Source Software – what, why and how’. N.R.Alamelu, Principal, Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, spoke.
