THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: RM Education Solutions India (RM ESI), a Technopark-based firm, has selected two students for their Educational Scholarship Programme 2009 under which the company extends financial support for undergraduate and postgraduate education of deserving students from economically backward families. Sijomon Joseph and S.L. Prasanth were selected from 21 applicants based on their academic record, financial need and career plans, a statement said. While Sijomon will receive the scholarship for pursuing civil engineering at Saintgits College of Engineering, Pathamuttom, Prasanth will pursue B.Sc. Biotechnology at St. Xavier’s College. The scholarship programme was introduced in 2007. Now, the company sponsors five students. Every year RM ESI expects to fund two or more students.
