KOZHIKODE: NAPCON 2009, the 11th national conference of the Indian Chest Society and the National College of Chest Physicians (India) concluded here on Sunday. Addressing the media after the conclusion of the conference, Dr. K.P. Govindan, president, Indian Chest Society and chairman of the organising committee, and Dr. C.Ravindran, organising secretary, said a report based on the ideas that came up at the three-day conference would be submitted to the government. The report was submitted as requested by Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy and Health Secretary Usha Titus, who were present at the inaugural function of the conference. A total of 1,400 doctors took part in the conference. It was conducted under the supervision of 160 doctors from India and abroad.
