Three arrested, cattle seized

Karwar: The Honnavar police arrested three persons in the town on Sunday on the charge of illegally transporting cattle. The accused were identified as Abdul Khadar of Shirahatti, Mukhtar Ali Abdul Gafoor of Lakshmeshwar and Mahalingappa Yallpaa Tevalgai of Kamalapur in Dharwad. The police have seized the cattle. — Correspondent
