All ears: Students and Rotarians at a Career Guidance Programme organised by the Rotary Club of Ketti Valley in Udhagamandalam on Saturday. Udhagamandalam: Thanks to the career guidance programme, Vetri Padigal, organised by the Rotary Club of Ketti Valley here on Saturday. Many school students belonging to the middle and lower strata of the society are now focused on what they should study and aspire to become. It was organised with the objective of familiarising the students with the opportunities open to them in various fields like defence, banking, law and medicine. The beneficiaries were from various schools including the GRG Memorial Tribal Higher Secondary School, the Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, the Saint Joseph’s Higher Secondary School and the Sri Shanthi Vijaya Girls Higher Secondary School. Industrialist and chairman of Ambal Autos K. Krishnakumar inaugurated the programme. The Assistant Governor, Rotary International District 3202, N. Chandrashekar also spoke. The President, Rotary Club of Ketti Valley, K.P. Anoop welcomed the gathering.
