POSCO initiative

BHUBANESWAR: POSCO-India Private Limited, which proposed to set up a 12 million tonne per annum capacity steel plant near Paradip, has announced formation of POSCO Foundation to take up social welfare programmes.

Education, healthcare and relief to poor will be focus of POSCO Foundation which would initially concentrate on the social development of the people in and around the proposed project site area in Jagatsinghpur and Sundergarh districts, according to a statement.
