Two playgrounds coming up

Tiruvannamalai: Two playgrounds will come up in Tiruvannamalai district – one at Kilpennathur and Thandarampattu - at a cost of Rs. 5 lakh each with Central funds, Collector M. Rajendran said.

He was distributing prizes to winners of various events at the district-level Panchayat Yuva Krida Aur Khel Abhiyan meet, at the district sports complex.

Mr. Rajendran said that playgrounds would be set up in every village in the district and in two years, there would be no village without a playground.
